The God of Peace
The Spider spins its web at night
The bird sings in the morning
The snake that gives a fright
Never returns to the scorning
One angel lays the dew
Upon thy ground
The other brings glad tidings
Of great good news around
A mother cow welcomes the new
Baby calf born in the spring
Bowing before God are few
As the innocent kids fashion the fling
But the Psalms say, “Praise God!”
Hear oh you his People
Just as houses are made of sod
Sing about his glory in all the heavens
Praise him in all the Earth
